2023 fashion trends

2023 fashion trends – In New York, Milan, London and Paris, the world’s capitals, hundreds of fashion shows have already been held to showcase the trends for 2023. For the 2022-2023 autumn/winter season, fashion designers have created interesting and valuable fashion trends on the catwalks.

The neo-punk look, revived a subculture that initially the majority refused to accept. Many were offended by the punk rebellion decades earlier. It happens with every major fashion trend. But later punk became part of mainstream fashion. But with its vibrant and bold look, it seems that punk is far from over.

The faux fur maxi coat is a long fur coat that needs to be reconciled with the principles of sustainable fashion. Now the younger generation refuses to accept pieces that are created by destroying the planet. Sustainable fashion also rejects low wages, which is denoted by the word fair trade. Animal welfare is also an important value of sustainable thinking, and fashion is for everyone. Regardless of age, body type or ethnicity.

Spring for 2023

Even more interesting than the autumn/winter collections, however, are the ones featuring spring trends for 2023. The truth is that with the changing seasons, we often find ourselves wanting to drop the temperature a little in the middle of the summer heat.

However, the magic of school holidays, summer beach holidays, relaxation and recharging at the end of each summer brings a little sadness as we say goodbye to the summer months. But fashion is already preparing for next summer, and after the cold winter months, spring will come again next year. What fashion trends can we expect for spring/summer 2023?

Copenhagen Fashion Week is all about minimalism and colourful bohemian styles as the mainstays. Denmark is the home of fairytales, and the proliferation of white is a sign that Scandinavian style is starting a new chapter. Fashion shows have been described as “fifty or more shades of white“.

People’s appetite for classic gentle shades is expressed in the greyish pastel colours that will greet us as a trend for spring/summer 2023. The aesthetic silhouettes of the 40’s will return as Spring/Summer 2023 trends, as will classic glamour.
